Sent by a Bangladeshi brother. He asked me to share this here for # Rohingya -
"((A country is not a land or a group of people.
A country is an idea- a beautiful dream.
I call my dream Bangladesh- it is a dream where the bold and free can live with dignity. It is a dream where Islam raises its mighty fist in the east for the entire world to see. It is a dream of a glorious sunrise in the eastern shores that will slowly yet steadily rise to light up the world with its rays of peace. Above all, it is a dream of a home, where we can bow down to Allah in Sujood without fear of oppression- because in this dream, we are free.
What is expected of the Muslim Ummah? Would the Muslims of Madinah have turned out their Makkah brothers? Even others showed greater mercy towards Muslims than we have- where would we have been had India shut her gates in 71?
The time has come for us to choose what nation we want to be.))"
